Sunday 29 June 2025, with environmental hiking guide Donata Petracchi. Londa - Montedomini - Il Torrione - Frascole archaeological excavations - Sandetole Convent. From the village of Londa we will ascend towards Frascole, following a sort of “journey through time” passing through places that are symbolic of the ancient history of this area, such as Vicorati, Montedomini, the Torrione, Venia, the Pozzo, San Martino and Sandetole. In this walk among rows of vines and olive groves, farmhouses and villas, abandoned churches and convents, ancient fortifications and sacred woods, we will go in search of our most remote origins: the Etruscans, or rather, “Radna”, as this mysterious people called themselves. Frascole is one of the most fascinating Etruscan sites on the border between Mugello and Val di Sieve. We will thus visit the Archaeological Area where we will be accompanied by the stories of the passionate and enthusiastic volunteers of the Dicomachese Archaeological Group. You will be fascinated by this place that exudes sacredness and, if you are not already, you will fall in love with the Rasna who lived here more than two thousand years ago!
