Breathing has two moments: when we inhale, we fill our lungs with the oxygen that the trees have exhaled, and when we exhale, we exhale the carbon dioxide that the trees will inhale. (Arthur Waskow, Sacred Seed)

Have we ever thought how the simple and essential act of breathing is an indissoluble bond between us and the plants?!
A cool walk in the regenerating greenery of the Casentinesi Forest Park, climbing up to the 1,600-plus meters of Falco and Falterona and listening to the unveiled voice of beech, maples, firs, yews, holly, chestnut, pine, and mountain ash trees...
So shhhh...
The Trees Speak!
