Monday 6 April 2026 – Here we are at the first hike of the new season. We’ll meet at 9:00 am in the car park in front of Ristorante Mandri (Strada Provinciale 556, km 15, Londa, FI). We recommend wearing hiking boots with a good grip, comfortable clothing suitable for the season,
a windproof jacket, hat and gloves. We also recommend bringing a rucksack with a water bottle holding at least 1 litre of water, a packed lunch, sweet or savoury snacks, fresh or dried fruit; binoculars, a camera, walking poles
and insect/tick repellent are recommended. Distance: 9.5 km, elevation gain: ±400 m, walking time: 4h30, total duration of the hike: 7h. We will stop for a packed lunch at the Faggio Tondo educational area. At around 3.00 pm, a snack is planned at the Poggio a Mandri farm, with a contribution of €6 per person.
