Castagno d'Andrea

Mt. Falterona, the symbol of the National Park, with its geological and morphological aspects, has remarkably influenced the life of the small communities which settled on its slopes during the different historical periods. Since prehistoric times, the story of this "sacred" mountain, from which the Arno springs, and of its historical routes are the characterizing theme of this Visitor Center which is being completed in the small town of Castagno d'Andrea.
