The "Consiglio Direttivo" (the Executive Council) comprises the President and twelve members appointed by Decree of the Minister for the Environment on the basis of information provided by the ministries, scientific and cultural institutions and the "Comunità del Parco". It's the organ of direction and planning of the Authority and it shall act on all general questions. The Council also appoints the Vice President chosen from the components indicated by the "Comunità del Parco".

The "Giunta" is composed of the President and four councillor elected by the "Consiglio Direttivo" from among its members. It's the executive body of the Authority and it must improved into pratical guidelines dictated by the "Consiglio Direttivo".

Its function is to perform the first finding of the administrative and accounting documents in accordance with the regulations governing Agency. The institution shall be subject to administrative supervision by the Ministry of Environment, The Ministry of the Treasury and ultimately by the "Corte dei Conti". It's composed of: Giuseppe Battistelli (President) and Anna Maria Pellini, referred to by the Ministry of the Treasury, Miria Bertocci indicated by the regions.

It's the advisor and consulting body of the organization. It included all organizations that have regional responsabilities in the area of the Park. The "Comunità del Parco", under the Law 394/91, is important as it must harmonize and coordinate the activities of various public bodies operating in the territory. The "Comunità del Parco" is chaired by Flavio Foietta, Mayor of Santa Sofia and Vice President is Ferruccio Ferri, Mayor of Bibbiena.
